Roughcut Media is a collective of independent filmmakers, journalists and photographers. We cover socio-political, developmental and human-rights issues.
Organisations & international work
We have previously worked with UNDP, Action Aid, Norwegian Church Aid, the Government of India and Google on projects in countries like Gambia, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Afghanistan.
People’s movements
We have also worked with people’s movements like the Narmada Bachao Andolan, the National Campaign for People’s Right to Information and the Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan (MKSS).
Festival history
Roughcut Media’s work has been screened and awarded at several international film festivals.
